You can disseminate a data set via VBN - Aalborg University's Research Portal and relate it to other content types such as projects and publications.

It has become more and more important to register and showcase research data sets and the relation to other research outputs. Many research funders require data to be available, either completely open or by pointing via metadata to the place where the data set has been stored.

The data set can also be stored elsewhere, for instance in another repository such as Zenodo, figshare, Mendeley Data etc. or the data set can be uploaded directly in VBN.

NB: only a limited size of data (max 5100 MB) can be stored in VBN.
