To use AAU FileSender, go to www.filesender.aau.dk and log in with your AAU credentials.

Click “Login” and enter your AAU username and password.

If you want to send a file using the recipient’s email, click ‘Upload’ in the top menu. Add your files by clicking ‘Select files’ or by dragging and dropping them into the upload area. Then enter the recipient’s email address, and add an optional subject and message.

Remember to copy the password before clicking the ‘Send’ button — the password cannot be looked up afterwards. 

You must send the password to the recipient through a different communication channel than email — for example via Microsoft Teams or a similar platform.

To use AAU FileSender, go to www.filesender.aau.dk and log in with your AAU credentials.

Click “Login” and enter your AAU username and password.

To use the method where you send files via a generated link, click the option ‘Get a link instead of sending to recipients’ in the menu on the right (see figure below).

Remember to copy the password before clicking the ‘Send’ button.

As shown in the figure below, a download link will be generated. Copy the link and send it to the recipient.

Remember, you must send the password through a different communication channel. For example, you can send the link by email and the password via Microsoft Teams.

When the recipient clicks the link, the dialog shown below will appear. The recipient must click the ‘Download’ button and then enter the password to start the download.

The figure below shows where you can enter the password.

If you want to manage your files, for example to get an overview, resend or delete a transfer, click ‘My Transfers’ in the top menu.

Here you can see all information related to your file uploads.

Click the ‘+’ sign on the left side of the screen to see more details about the files you have uploaded. Here you can view an audit log for each upload, showing when the file was uploaded or downloaded and by whom (see figure below).
